Description
Formed in 1971, Bahrain Accountants & Auditors Association is the first such association or society for professionals to be formed in the Kingdom of Bahrain (State at the time). It was re-registered on 13 April 1992 under registration No. 78/C/M, and its Articles of Association were amended in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Associations, Social and Cultural Clubs, Private Bodies working in the field of Youth and Sports and Private Institutions promulgated by Legislative Decree No. (21) of 1989 and the ministerial decisions issued in implementation thereof.
Bahrain Accountants & Auditors Association shall build and preserve a strong accounting and auditing profession making key contributions to the development of Bahrain’s economy and the achievement of Kingdom’s developmental goals.
Bahrain Accountants & Auditors Association shall establish and develop a standard of excellence in the accounting and auditing profession through:
- Strengthening ties within the accounting and auditing fraternity;
- Raising awareness about international best practices and standards in the accounting and auditing field; and
- Developing Bahraini accountants and auditors through knowledge sharing, training opportunities and mentoring
