Fajr Investment Advisory B.S.C.(c), was incorporated in May 2008 by Bahrain and UK investors with extensive collective experience in trading and Islamic finance, recognizing the requirement for a locally regulated group to meet opportunities in the Shari’a complaint capital markets.

Leveraging its Board’s expertise and through strong liaison with clients and Sharia advisors, Fajr has become the leading, regionally regulated provider of Commodity Murabaha and retail Tawarroq, to both private and public institutions in the MENA region.

With its strong links to the international trading fraternity and exchange traded markets, Fajr ensures the supply of compliant commodities such as Platinum Group Metals, LME Base Metals (i.e., Aluminum, Nickel, Copper etc.) and Crude Oil, as well as a range of locally supplied commodities. Fajr is also one of the few regional companies to hold membership of The London Metal Exchange.

The electronic platform is fully compliant with industry standards to provide unique customer access and security, enabling purchase and sale transactions of diversified Sharia-compliant commodities, in an efficient and effective manner.
